Your right to erase your data.

1. Personal Data We Hold

The following personal data may be stored for users who created an account via Sign in with Apple:

2. How to Request Deletion

You can request full deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. Choose the method that works best for you:

Option A — Delete from within the app (recommended)

  Open Voki on your iPhone or iPad Make sure you are signed in to the account you wish to delete.

  Go to Profile → Settings Tap your profile icon in the bottom navigation bar, then open Settings.
• 3
  Tap "Delete Account" Confirm the deletion. Your account data, stories, and all associated personal information will be permanently erased from our servers within 30 days.

Option B — Send us a deletion request by email

If you no longer have access to the app, or prefer to submit your request in writing, send an email to:

Please include in your email:

• The email address or Apple ID associated with your Voki account
• A brief statement that you are requesting deletion of your personal data

3. Scope of Deletion

When we process a deletion request, we will erase:

• Your account record (Apple User ID, name, email) from our CloudKit database
• All stories you created, including generated text, cover art, and audio files
• Any profile preferences and settings stored server-side

Data we cannot delete on your behalf

The following data is outside our direct control, but we provide guidance on how to remove it:

• Apple App Store subscription records — managed by Apple. Cancel and manage subscriptions via iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• iCloud app storage — local device data synced via iCloud is managed by Apple. You can remove it via iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Storage.
• Anonymous Firebase analytics — these events are not linked to your identity and cannot be attributed to your account after deletion.

4. Your Legal Rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:

• Right of access (Art. 15) — request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
• Right to rectification (Art. 16) — request correction of inaccurate personal data
• Right to erasure / "Right to be forgotten" (Art. 17) — request deletion of your personal data
• Right to data portability (Art. 20) — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Right to object (Art. 21) — object to processing of your data

If you are unsatisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (e.g., the German Bundesdatenschutzbeauftragter, the French CNIL, or the UK ICO).
